If you are missing the "New Folder" option in the desktop context menu as seen to the right. new folder option back on windows 10 or 8.1. Most of the windows users says that " they can't find the New folder option when they click the right mouse button or new option missing from the desktop context menu.
Process:
- Click on Start
- Then run (Search run)
- In run windows type Regedit
- Click on okay. (It will open registry editor)
- Then follow the path given below:
- HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT / Directory /Background /sellex / ContextMenuHandlers
- Create new key here by clicking right-clicking on ContextMenuHandlers.
- On the right window, you will see a default
- right-click on default and then modify.
- Set following value then Ok.
